Mariana Siritanu

Director of Nursing

Under her leadership, Mrs. Mariana synergized and integrated nursing professional roles, thus enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness within Prime Hospital and Medical Centers. She has spearheaded the Return-To-Nursing Training Program for unlicensed staff and Skills Training Program for Registered and Licensed Nurses. These programs help non-practicing nurses to gain knowledge and skills and to become a valuable part of our healthcare workforce. She also initiated work redesign projects, which aim to expand and raise the professionalism of nursing jobs, as well as jobs satisfaction.

Mrs. Mariana has enjoyed a distinguished career in nursing spanning 20 years and is looking forward to building relationships with her nursing counterparts in UAE to advance positive changes nationally for the nursing profession.

Mrs. Mariana has also overseen the growth of the Al Noor Nursing and now of the Prime Staff, which offers nursing cross-training programs and practice-based training for nurses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the region, equipping them with valuable skills required for their expanded role in patient care. In 2004, her great contribution brought Al Noor Hospital the distinction for being the first private hospital in Abu Dhabi to be accredited by the American Safety and Health Institute Florida, U.S. as a Training Center and Continuing Nursing Education Provider in 2008.

One of Mrs. Mariana’s major achievements was her leadership in nursing in the Al Noor Hospital which was instrumental in helping the hospital achieve the ISO 2001:9000 in 2009, EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) in 2011, SKEA (Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award) in 2004, JCIA 3rd. 4th Edition and JCIA 5th Edition (Joint Commission International Accreditation).

Mrs. Mariana actively shares and contributes her nursing experience and expertise in many healthcare committees and education organizations, UAE Director of Nursing Committee and NMC UK. Her passion for nursing education led her to serve as a Basic Life Support and First Aid Instructor of the American Safety and Health Institute Florida, U.S. Graduated from Nursing College Romania, she is a representative of the nursing profession in Romania and U.K. and a graduate of MBA in HealthCare Management Wales University, UK in 2011.

In recognition of her exceptional leadership and significant contribution to the nursing profession and community, in 2009 appointed as Director of Nursing at Al Noor Hospital, in December 2013 she was appointed as Chief Nursing Officer at Universal Hospital, UAE, and June 2017 as Director of Nursing at Prime Group which expands her healthcare networks with national bodies to contribute towards the nursing community in United Arab Emirates.
