Dr. Mohammed. Zaqout completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Al-Makassed Hospital, Jerusalem, and the Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine from the Jordan Medical Council. After obtaining the Jordanian board, he worked as a consultant internal medicine at a tertiary hospital in Palestine, he proved to be skilled in formulating & providing differential diagnoses for a diverse patient base; key participant in coordinating case investigations & implementing critical treatment options for identified disorders. He was also in the front-line response to COVID-19 in terms of planning and management. Due to multi-faceted professional with over 25 years of experience working in different internal medicine departments, Dr.Zaqout was promoted to head of department in Palestine. He also participated in medical training as a Lecturer of medical students, clinical tutor at the hospital, and final Clinical Examiner for Medical students and new doctors. He was a member of the Higher Scientific, Examination, Supervising Committees of the Internal Medicine Board.
He worked from 25 July 2021 until 17 October 2021 with Dubai Health Authority as a Consultant internal medicine -at Rashid Hospital. He was responsible to ensure general medical care for patients according to current, best evidence-based standards and complied with the ethical and professional standards set by the hospital & regulatory authorities.
Dr. Zaqout is currently connected with Prime Hospital as a Consultant in Internal Medicine. He has extensive and rich experience in confidently addressing different medical illnesses and reaching the best approach to medical management.
When I succeeded to manage a young female with badly complicated systemic Lupus with multiorgan affection (brain, heart, and kidneys), after succeeding in her management, she got pregnant followed by me closely during pregnancy for lupus. She delivered a beautiful baby safely. I started the management plan before/during her pregnancy and after delivery.
