Dr. Mahesh Kumar Appiah Ramamoorthy | Orthopedics (Bone, Joint Trauma Care)

Dr. Mahesh Kumar obtained his M.B.B.S., and M.S., (Orthopedics) degrees from the premier medical institute- Madras Medical College in India. He is a qualified Advanced Trauma Life Support surgeon certified by the Committee on Trauma, American College of Surgeons. He served as Asst. Professor and Civil Asst. Surgeon in Government Royapettah Hospital and Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for four years. During that period he performed a number of orthopedic operations for orthopedic polytrauma, joint replacement surgery, spine surgery, bone tumor surgery and pediatric orthopedic surgery. He had the opportunity to hold the post of Assistant Professor in the Hand Surgery Unit at Stanley Medical College, Chennai. During that period he performed many Hand surgeries.

Dr. Mahesh served as a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon in the Ministry of Health, Regional Multispecialty Hospital, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a period of four years. In his Career he had got special interest in “computer-related injuries”, did extensive research work and developed extraordinary skills in managing such patients. He is a consultant to corporate in setting up high-performance work environment in accordance to ergonomic principles. Dr. Mahesh conducts exercise and fitness programs and teaches ergonomic principles to corporate clients to increase work performance and prevent fatigue syndrome and repetitive stress injuries. He is a member in American Association of Orthopedic Surgery, Indian Orthopedic Association, Dubai Ortho Club and A.O. International, Switzerland.
