Introduction

Dr Valarmathi has 31 years of experience in the medical field and over 10 years of experience as a specialist in Internal medicine at Prime Medical Centre, Sharjah. She believes in personalised and quality medical care. She graduated with a degree in MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, in 1988 and subsequently completed her M.D. in Internal medicine where she was trained in various specialties like Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology and Infectious Diseases and also completed her Thesis for Internal Medicine in Gestational diabetes.

She worked as Resident Medical officer in Kalyani Mission Hospital. Chennai for a year during which period, she had the special privilege of working under the eminent physician Dr. K.V.Thiruvengadam formerly Professor and Head of Department of Medicine Madras Medical College and Honorary Physician to the President of India and was credited with his valuable appreciation. Following which she worked as a Medical officer in various Govt Health Centres in Tamil Nadu.She moved to U.A.E in 2000 and joined a reputed Medical Centre in Sharjah and worked there for more than 10 years before moving to Prime health care group where has completed 10 years as specialist Physician
