Dr. Tasneem Jamil, Deputy Managing Director & Director Medical Affairs of Prime Healthcare Group, while a doctor and a management leader by profession is really a philanthropist at heart. She applies the principles of capitalism with a soulful human approach. An alumnus of Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute in Chennai, India, where post obtaining her MBBS degree, she joined the Ministry of Health at the Umm Al Quwain Hospital and worked there for almost two decades. In 1999, when PRIME Healthcare was founded by Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Dr. Tasneem, the epitome of a perfect partner and spouse, very adroitly managed 3 full-time jobs for over a decade – that of nurturing the budding organization in addition to her full-time job at MOH and of course a full-time mother to three lovely children.
Her imprint and efforts of those early years are clearly visible in the organization even till date, in the conduct of the team members who were interviewed and selected by her and the PRIME culture which continues to stand testimony to the values of compassion, care, and service espoused by her own behavior and character. It was in those early years that the seeds of the distinct PRIME family culture were sown, which has now blossomed into a full-fledged banyan tree, proving shade, protection, and healing, as it continues to grow and expand.
Dr. Tasneem Jamil works along with Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Managing Director of Prime Healthcare Group, to enhance the clinical and healthcare services across the organization and its subsidiaries. The couple works tirelessly together to bring the tagline of Prime Healthcare ‘’Personalized Care Personally” to life. Their passion for quality combined with their personal involvement with each staff and patient who visits Prime Healthcare has ensured that Prime Healthcare has established itself as a beacon of compassionate care in the UAE. An astute businesswoman Dr. Tasneem Jamil has established globally benchmarked service standards across all Prime Facilities and has developed a comprehensive patient-centric program that aims to create a wow patient experience.
With many distinctions to her credit, Dr. Tasneem Jamil was felicitated at the Annual Health Award, where Prime Hospital and Prime Medical Center were awarded as one of the most ‘Distinguished Hospitals’ and ‘Distinguished Clinics’ in the UAE in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the region’s healthcare industry.
Dr. Tasneem Jamil has been conferred with the Golden visa. She and her spouse Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Managing Director of the Prime Healthcare Group have been long-standing residents in the UAE, along with their 3 children, for over 30 years, and have mutually been enriched by the vibrant and blissful culture of UAE. A forerunner in philanthropic activities she is a patron of the Rashid Center. The beautiful paintings made by the children of determination acquired from the Rashid Center, proudly adorn the walls of all PRIME Facilities.
