Dr. Ihab El Tayeb is one of the leading endocrinologists in Prime Hospital, bringing with him over 25 years of experience. He specializes in treating Type 1 and 2 diabetes; thyroid and parathyroid disorders; pituitary disorders such as polycystic ovary syndromes, hirsutism and gynecomastia; puberty disorders; metabolic bone disorders; and growth hormone therapy. Prior to joining Prime Hospital, Dr. El Tayeb was the Consultant of Endocrinology at the Dar Al Shifaa in Egypt. He has been visiting hospitals affiliated with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health as a Visiting Professor. Dr. El Tayeb has made valuable contributions to the Endocrinology Department through his work as a Specialist. He has also worked with specialized medical centers under the Egypt Ministry of Health and Population.
Dr. El Tayeb completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1992 and Master’s Degree in Endocrinology from the Faculty of Medicine of Aims Shams University, Egypt. He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Azhar University in Egypt. In addition, he has completed an advanced training program at the Endocrinology Department of Bologna University Hospital in Italy. Aside from his medical accomplishments, Dr. El Tayeb has authored several medical articles for renowned international publications as well as participated as a keynote speaker in leading local, regional, and international medical conferences, among many other achievements.
