Dr. Pavithra is a Specialist - Internal Medicine at Prime Medical Center. Prior to joining Prime Medical Center, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, which gave her in-depth exposure to evidence-based internal medicine practice. She possesses a comprehensive approach to patient care and management and has worked as Senior Registrar in Apollo Hospital.
With hands-on experience as an undergraduate and post-graduate teacher, Dr. Pavithra is academically active and is keen on attending conferences related to her field of expertise. She has authored a review article on Diabetes in the Asian Journal of Diabetology and she also did her Diploma in Diabetes Mellitus (UK).
In addition, Dr. Pavithra has done various certificate courses on Diabetes and Thyroid and is a lifetime member of the Association of Physicians of India (API). She graduated from Sri Devaraj URS Medical College (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) in 2002, before completing post-graduation (DNB- Diplomate of National Board, affiliated to New Delhi) in Internal Medicine.
