Centre for advanced Endoscopic Spine Surgery and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Introduction
At Prime Hospital, we have comprehensive spine care management that includes medical management, Physiotherapy, Pain Management, and Surgery, as and when required.
The Spinal disorders that we treat at our hospital include
Below are the surgical options for treating the Spinal disorders
The evolution of Endoscopies helps us to treat difficult cases in a simple and less painful manner with sub-centimeter incisions and patients are discharged in a day.
Below mentioned are some of the Endoscopic surgeries done at Prime Hospital under sub-centimeter incision (8mm).
There are different site lumbar disc herniations as Median or Paramedian, Foraminal or Extraforaminal. Central Herniations mainly cause back pain and sideway herniations compress the nerve roots and lead to sciatica or leg pain. Depending on the direction of herniation, an interlaminar endoscopic approach or transforaminal endoscopic approach is performed with a single sub-centimeter incision (8mm).
For Lumbar canal stenosis, Endoscopic Lumbar Canal Decompression known as the PSLD technique is the latest and most advanced Endoscopic Spine procedure. Even when Canal Stenosis involves 2-3 levels, at Prime Hospital, we do Endoscopic Spine surgery using a single sub-centimeter incision by jumping technique.
